ABACO ABACO

The Project Inception Workshop was attended by a total of 30 participants drawn from the 9 project partners who include ACT, SOFESCA/University of Zimbabwe, CIRDES (Burkina Faso), FOFIFA (Madagascar), CIRAD (France), Wagengingen University (The Netherlands), NRI (UK), Yellow Window (Belgium) and EMBRAPA (Brazil). Representatives of European Union-Nairobi and the local extension services of the Ministry of Agriculture also attended inception workshop.

SCAP

The Smallholder Conservation Agriculture Promotion(SCAP) is a regional project financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development(IFAD)and partly by Agence Francaise de Development (AFD). The project is being implemented by the African Conservation Tillage Network(ACT) in collaboration with Centre de cooperation internationale en recherche agronomiquepour le development(CIRAD)&World Agroforestry Centre(ICRAF).

The Conservation Agriculture for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development (CA for SARDII) with project symbol GCP/RAF/413/GER was a government of the Federal Republic of German funded project, executed by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

CA2AFRICA

CA2Africa

The overall project goal is to assess and learn jointly from past and on-going CA experiences under which conditions and to what extent does CA strengthen the socio-economic position of landholders in Africa. This will enable the identification of knowledge gaps for future research, development and promotion of CA.
